Gulf Shores’ $2.1 Million Airport Investment Signals Strong Long-Term Growth

One of the most important indicators of a healthy real estate market is strategic economic investment, and Gulf Shores has once again demonstrated its commitment to long-term growth.

The City of Gulf Shores has been awarded $2,140,570 through Alabama’s Growing Alabama Tax Credit Program to advance major site development at Gulf Shores International Airport. Those Eastern Views!

Silver Beach 501 Living AreaThere are about 40 miles of white sand beaches from Johnson Beach in Perdido Key to Fort Morgan in Gulf Shores. When it comes to views along our shoreline, east-corner condo units often garner special attention and fetch a premium because of their unobstructed sunrise vistas and their ideal orientation to the clear Gulf waters. Not that we have anything against sunsets! Because of the way our beaches run, we do sometimes get sunsets over the Gulf, but mainly in winter and only just at the western edge. There is truly nothing like a sunrise on the Gulf, though - watching the light track across the sky and sparkle off the Gulf's peaceful surface is food for the soul.
