Three nights of professional bull riding, kids’ contests, themed outfits, and that famous Flora-Bama energy — right on the Alabama–Florida line.
Hey locals and beach dreamers! If you’ve ever heard the roar from the Flora-Bama on a September weekend, you already know: Bulls on the Beach is one of the most anticipated events on the Gulf Coast calendar. This year it runs Thursday, September 10 through Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the world-famous Flora-Bama Lounge & Oyster Bar on Perdido Key.
It’s loud, it’s fun, it’s family-friendly on Thursday, and a portion of proceeds goes to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. It’s also the kind of event that fills hotels, condos, and short-term rentals from Orange Beach to Gulf Shores; which is exactly why I love talking about it with buyers and investors.
What to Expect at Bulls on the Beach 2026
- Thursday – Kids’ Night / Camo Cowboy: Coloring contest and bike giveaway for kids 12 and under, then professional bull riding. Kids 12 and under often get a break on admission (check the official site for the latest).
- Friday – Patriotic Tribute: Adult professional bull riding.
- Saturday – 90’s Country: Closing night of high-energy PBR-style action.
Times: Flora-Bama doors typically open around 5 p.m., gates at 6 p.m., rodeo at 8 p.m. Seating is general admission / first-come, first-served bleachers — arrive early.
