Big News Takes Flight: Nonstop Routes Announced for Gulf Shores Airport!

Starting in May 2025, Gulf Shores International Airport will officially welcome its first-ever commercial air service, thanks to Allegiant Airlines. The carrier has announced six new nonstop routes connecting Gulf Shores to key cities across the country:
- Knoxville, TN (TYS) – service begins May 21, 2025
- Cincinnati, OH (CVG) – service begins May 22, 2025
- Houston, TX (HOU) – service begins May 22, 2025
- Bentonville/Fayetteville, AR (XNA) – service begins May 22, 2025
- Belleville/St. Louis, IL (BLV) – service begins May 23, 2025
- Kansas City, MO (MCI) – service begins May 24, 2025
